monographRésumé:

The monograph is intended as a collection of all relevant information about the Sebastian Quartet - a list of former and current members, a list of soloists and chamber musicians who performed with them, then visual artists who exhibited their paintings and sculptures at their concerts, as well as poets whose verses read. Particularly valuable is the list of repertoire, all compositions played in the subscription season in the Lisinski Small Hall, the list of works by Croatian composers that they performed, works dedicated to them, sheet music editions that they initiated, as well as CDs that they have recorded so far.
In addition, the monograph contains short written statements of current and former members, their memories, a view of the ensemble and the music they created in it. Through their statements and photographs, an attempt is made to show the life of the string quartet from the inside, and an artistic framework is provided for the expression of the most intimate musical thoughts and feelings, which are then transmitted to the audience through this imaginary being.
