I had the pleasure of participating in the celebration of the 100:th anniversary of the Nydahl Collection (The Foundation for the Advancement of Music Culture). The Nydahl Collection has an informative website from which I have compiled the text.
Issue 4 of Volume 66 (October-December 2019) of IAML's journal Fontes Artis Musicae is available on Project Muse or the IAML website for members. Read three articles, the Briefs/Feuilletons column, and four book reviews.
RILM Editor-in-Chief and Former IAML President, Barbara Dobbs Mackenzie attended a special forum held by the Taiwan Music Institute in celebration of World Day for Audiovisual Heritage. At this forum, Mackenzie spoke about the "collaborative content and cooperative blueprint of the RILM and IAML communities" and participated in the "launch meeting of the IAML-Taiwan prototype." A new group was established at the the forum that includes representatives from Taiwan music associations, and is described as an embryonic group that may lead to a Taiwan branch of IAML in the future.
