On behalf of the IAML Sections Broadcasting and Orchestra Libraries, Cataloguing and Metadata, and Libraries in Music Teaching Institutions, it is a pleasure for us to call for your contributions to the next IAML Online Meeting. The meeting will take place on Zoom, 25 March 2022.
Proposals are invited on subjects related to:
- Cataloguing of audiovisual materials in digital formats
- Preservation of digital scores
- Preservation of digital performance materials
- Metadata, element sets, aligning ontologies
- Format obsolescence
- Copyright issues with displaying digital scores
Presentations that invite discussion and audience interaction are encouraged.
Proposals from all time zones are welcome and the meeting will be scheduled accordingly.
Papers and suggestions about related topics should be submitted to:
broadcasting-orchestra@iaml.
The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday 7 March 2022 (midnight UTC).
The suggested duration for papers is about 15-20 minutes in order to allow comfortable Q&A time after each paper; the format of the meeting will encompass supplementary opening of the meeting room for informal conversation.
Anders Cato, IAML’s Secretary General, will announce the access information on IAML-L closer to the meeting, which will be free of charge.
