New Acquisitions

  • The Marta and Austin Weeks Music Library, Frost School of Music, University of Miami is pleased to announce the acquisition of a major collection of books and other secondary literature relating to opera and opera singers.  The collection was the personal library of Roger Gross, a major New York dealer in musical autographs who had a special love of opera.  The collection, which runs to several thousand volumes, relates to opera and opera singers from the late eighteenth century to the present.

Webinar

  • The second in a series of three webinars on using RDA for music materials will be held on:
    Thursday, July 31, 2014, 2:30pm Eastern/1:30 Central/12:30 Mountain/11:30am Pacific
    Registration for the webinar includes access to the recording after the event.
    The topic will be cataloging music scores (mostly) and sheet music (maybe one example).
