It is with sadness that we learned of the death on 12 October 2024 of our Belgian colleague and friend Bernard Huys (1934-2024), who served as IAML Vice-President from 1986 to 1989. He was also one of the driving forces behind RISM Belgium.
It is with much sadness that we pass on the news of the very recent death of Malcolm Jones, a former UK & Ireland Branch President (1986-1989) and Honorary Branch member.
We are deeply sad to inform you that our esteemed colleague Harald Heckmann passed away on Sunday, 5 November 2023, after a serious illness.
It is with sadness that we share news of the recent death of Prue Neidorf, long-time IAML member and founding Music Librarian at the National Library of Australia (NLA). Prue died surrounded by her family in Canberra on 18 January 2023.
We mourn the loss of Donald L. Roberts, who was President of IAML from 1992 to 1995.
