A friendly welcome was received from the IAML Executive and conference committee on arriving at my first International Association of Music Libraries (IAML) Australian branch conference in Sydney, 1-2 October 2015.
Wir haben gerade unsere Praktikantin Anne-Marie Wurster verabschiedet, die uns fünf Wochen unterstützte. Anschließend hat Anne-Marie an der AIBM-Tagung in Stuttgart teilgenommen. Sie hat ihre Eindrücke hier zusammengefasst: "Die Teilnahme an der Fachtagung für Musikbibliothekare aus dem gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum war nicht nur ein Highlight meines Praktikums, sondern bildete auch dessen stimmigen Abschluss. Zuerst stellte sich hier die Stadt Stuttgart mit ihrem reichen Musikleben dar, unter anderem durch Beiträge der Stuttgarter Staatsoper, der Hymnus Chorknaben, das Integrationsprojekt Labyrinth und das Musiklabel TACET..."
The Forum of Commissions and Professional Branches of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentations Centres (IAML) is pleased to announce the calls for papers and posters for the IAML Congress to be held in Rome, 3–8 July 2016.
The 20th Quinquennial Congress of the International Musicological Society (IMS) will be held March 19 - March 23, 2017 in Tokyo. We have recently released a “Call for Papers” on our website (http://www.ims2017-tokyo.org/), and all musicologists and researchers in relevant fields, be they IMS members or not, are cordially invited to participate.
