The mission of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) is to broaden access to music resources through international collaboration and advocacy, to support research, learning, performance and enjoyment. Our members open up the vast world of information and repertoire in their daily interactions with students, educators, researchers, musicians, and the general public. We work to promote and preserve musical heritage among diverse cultures as we recognise the importance of music in the lives of the world’s people.

A virtual tour opened online last week of our legendary Studio for Electronic Music (SfEM).

We are one of 50 institutions that are part of the fascinating project "Music Makers Machines," which was launched last week on Google Arts & Culture.

Call for applications for the position of IAML Assistant Web Editor

IAML is seeking a new Assistant Web Editor.

Responsibilities:

  1. Share the workload of the Web Editor in seeking and preparing new content for the website 
  2. Manage IAML's social media accounts: primarily Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. 
  3. Revise and edit webpages as needed 
  4. Test website as needed
  5. Ensure positive user experience
