This year the elections are run by the Electoral Reform Services in the UK, and within the next few days, you will all receive an e-mail from them with instructions on how to vote. Only members who have paid their annual fee for 2019 are allowed to vote in the elections.
Everyone will receive a personal log-in and password from the Electoral Reform Services with a link to the voting site. By clicking the link, you will be taken to the election page, where you just follow the instructions and go through the process.
The process starts with elections for president and is then followed by elections for vice-presidents. You can only vote for one presidential candidate, but you are entitled to vote for up to four vice-presidential candidates.
When in the area choosing whom to vote for, you can click on the link to the document with information about the candidates, including their CVs and presentations. Once you are finished, click “submit”, and your vote has been cast. You will get a confirmation on the screen that voting went OK.
Before the end of June, the nominees and the membership will be notified of the results.
NB 1: Please be extra aware of an e-mail from the Electoral Reform Services (…@electoralreform.co.uk). Since the e-mail does not come from IAML, you or your e-mail server might consider it spam, but it is not!
NB 2: If you have not received an e-mail from the Electoral Reform Society by the end of May 15th, please contact me at once.
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

IAML Secretary-General
