The Bizet Catalogue is now online:
http://digital.wustl.edu/
Compiled by Hugh Macdonald and managed by the Humanities Digital Workshop at Washington University, St. Louis.
From the Catalogue:
"This is primarily a list of Bizet's works, providing essential information about the history and content of each one. It gives information on manuscript and printed sources, on documentary materials relating to the composition, performance and publication of each work, and is intended to provide a full historical documentation of Bizet's work as composer and transcriber."
A general keyword search is available. Users can browse by composition in the List of Works or the List of Transcriptions. A list of Libraries and Collections is also available, which names by institution the locations where Bizet sources (including libretti) can be found. Bizet's works are also arranged in chronological order, order of publication, genre, and opus numbers; furthermore, dedicatees and publishers are also listed (see Other Lists in the menu).
Entries include not only information about the work in its manuscript or printed form, but in some cases a discography, bibliography, list of performances, and excerpts from letters are included.
