The 1975 international IAML conference took place 17–23 August at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. IAML met together with the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA(link is external)), whose meetings were organized jointly with the Association of Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC(link is external)). In addition, the Music Library Association (MLA(link is external)) held its annual summer meeting during the conference.
