Registration |
The
registration deadline is April 10, 2006. After that date a
higher registration fee will be charged. |
The registration fee for members
of IAML/IAMIC/IMS is:
SEK 1750 before April 10 and
SEK
2100 after that date. |
The registration fee for non-members
of IAML/IAMIC/IMS is:
SEK 2200 before April 10 and
SEK
2600 after that date. |
Accompanying guests are welcome at
a reduced fee of
SEK 900 until April 10, 2006 and
SEK 1200 after
that date.
The fee includes the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, the Welcome
Reception given by the City of Göteborg on Monday, the
Wednesday afternoon tours and both concerts. |

Payment |
The total amount due all
social events, excluding tours that require a minimum number
of participants,
must be
transferred to the IAML-IAMIC-IMS 2006 bank account or paid by
credit card, when the registration is submitted. |
Your
registration will only be accepted when full payment has been
received. All payments should be made in SEK. |
We
regret that no personal cheques, company cheques or
Eurocheques will be accepted. |

Cancellations |
Cancellations are possible until May 10, 2006. The amount
paid will be reimbursed after deduction of bank charges.
Cancellations received after May 10
will only be refunded after receipt of an official document
confirming that the cancellation is due to illness or
accident. |

Conference venue |
The conference will take place at
Artisten, the Academy of Music and Drama, the
University of Göteborg. The building is centrally located just
behind the main city square, Götaplatsen. The street adress is
Fågelsången 1. |

Badges |
Each
participant will receive a name badge upon registration. All
participants are requested to wear their badge during all
Conference activities and social events. |

Banks |
Banks are open between 09.30 and 15.00 on weekdays. Some banks
in central Göteborg are open between 09.00 and 17.00. |
|
Climate |
Late June is usually pleasant with
temperatures ranging from 15-25° C. Though the sun shines most
of day (and night in June!), bring an umbrella just to make
sure, and something warm and windproof. The wind coming in
from the sea is certainly refreshing, but might also be cool.

price SEK 330.
Taxi Kurir 031-27 27 27, from the airport to the city fixed
price SEK 320. Both companies take ca SEK 100 from the Central
station to
Artisten (prices Nov. 2005). |

Meals |
Coffee/tea is included in the registration fee and will be served
daily.
A wide variety of restaurants for lunch or for dinner, both
international and ethnic cuisines, can be found in the city
centre. Your Conference kit will contain information about
places to eat near the Conference venue. |

Photocopying
and
communication |
Photocopies
All material needed for the working sessions can be copied
free of charge
in the Conference office. For private copies there will be a
nominal charge. |
E-mail
Computers will be at your disposal in the Conference
office. |

○ Moderate, lunch for one,

A service charge is included in restaurant
prices, but an additional tip of 5-10% is common. |

Visa |
Visitors arriving in Sweden must have valid national
passports. Please check the list of countries whose citizens
require a visa on the homepage of
the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Citizens from
most European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the
USA do not need a visa. |
