The mission of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) is to broaden access to music resources through international collaboration and advocacy, to support research, learning, performance and enjoyment. Our members open up the vast world of information and repertoire in their daily interactions with students, educators, researchers, musicians, and the general public. IAML Vienna Conference Diary / Konferenztagebuch #4: English / Englisch (United Kingdom)

In a city so musically rich as Vienna it’s difficult to single out one particular highlight, but for me it was the concert at the Musikverein. To hear music by the great Viennese masters played so well and on such wonderful period instruments was one thing, but to have in the same Konzertsaal the autograph manuscripts of the music we were hearing was a unique experience. Many thanks to all our Austrian colleagues for a truly great week.
