The mission of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) is to broaden access to music resources through international collaboration and advocacy, to support research, learning, performance and enjoyment. Our members open up the vast world of information and repertoire in their daily interactions with students, educators, researchers, musicians, and the general public. We work to promote and preserve musical heritage among diverse cultures as we recognise the importance of music in the lives of the world’s people. |
CAML Review, the official publication of CAML, is finalizing preparations for our December issue, and is now requesting submissions for the June issue. An international conference was held 7-9 October 2022 acknowledging the 70th anniversary of RISM (Répertoire International des Sources Musicales). It was a great honour for me to extend IAML’s warm congratulations in a short speech at the opening session. As the President of IAML, I am very proud of the fact that our Association was one of the two founders of the RISM project in 1952, together with the International Musicological Society (IMS).
The latest issue of Fontes artis musicae, Volume 69, no. 3 (July-September 2022) has been published.

The call for papers and posters for the IAML Congress 2023, to be held at the University of Cambridge (30 July-4 August), is now open.
