  • Recent Publications in Music 2013 has been uploaded!
    Recent Publications in Music is an annual international bibliography of music publications. This list contains citations to literature about music in print and other media, emphasizing reference materials and works of research interest. This year there are entries from 31 countries and two Special Administrative Regions.
  • Richard Chesser has proposed a process for making comments to the revised constitutional documents recently published

  • Yiddish Operetta to be Performed
    Di goldene kale (The Golden Bride), a 1923 Yiddish-American operetta by Joseph Rumshinsky, will be presented in a concert version with piano by the National Yiddish Theater - Folksbiene from a vocal score edited by IAML member Michael Ochs.
    The performance, in Yiddish with English & Russian supertitles, will take place at the Baruch Performing Arts Center, 55 Lexington Avenue, New York, on Tuesday May 27 at 7 PM. The event is free but tickets must be reserved at the BPAC box office, (646) 312-5073 (open daily 12-6 PM).
    A critical edition of the full score will be published by the American Musicological Society as part of the series "Music of the United States of America" (MUSA)---see https://sites.google.com/a/umich.edu/musa/forthcoming/di-goldene-kale.
