The 2009 IAML/IMS international conference took place between 5 and 10 July in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in the brand new Conservatoire (opened in 2008).
The Conservatoire has been built next to the prestigious Public Library of Amsterdam which opened its doors in July 2007 and is centrally located near the river IJ a short walk from the Central Railway Station. The historical canals which harbour most of the tourist attractions are just a stroll away.
