A new tutorial for the Plaine & Easie Code is now available from the RISM Editorial Center in cooperation with the U.S. RISM Office at Harvard University. The Plaine & Easie Code is a library standard that is maintained by IAML and by RISM. It corresponds to MARC21 field 031.
The 4,000th record has been added to the Recent Publications in Music database, an annual international bibliography of music publications curated by IAML.

Fontes Artis Musicae
The Vol. 68, no. 1 (January-March 2021) issue of Fontes Artis Musicae is now available online via Project Muse and on the IAML website for members. With articles on Joan Manén’s recordings and Reformation-era musical activities at the court of Ulrich VI, plus four book reviews.
It is with sadness that we report the passing of János Kárpáti, long-time member of the Hungarian IAML Branch, who was also active in IAML on an international level.

We have to announce another sad piece of news less than six months after Dr. Kishimoto's passing. Emeritus professor Noriko Murai of Ferris University passed away on December 17, 2020.
