Monday, June 22nd opening session. Three very enthusiastic archivists for New York City: Barbara Haws (New York Philharmonic, 1842-), Gino Francesconi (Carnegie Hall, 1891-), and Sharon Lehner (Brooklyn Academy of Music, 1857-) presented interesting stories about their archives which made me want to visit them.

Call for Papers: Association RIdIM Conference in Columbus

Association Répertoire International d’Iconographie Musicale is presenting the 15th International RIdIM Conference, hosted by the Ohio State University Libraries in Columbus, 8-10 November 2015. The Conference will address research related to manifestations of power and repression reflected in visual representations of music, dance, and dramatic arts of all periods, cultures and media.

Mozart autograph now available on the web (Budapest, Hungary)

Last September I sent an announcement telling you about the
public presentation of a newly discovered autograph fragment of Mozart's
famous Sonata in A major (K. 331, with the 'Alla Turca' finale). Now I am
happy to add that the National Széchényi Library has just launched a
website to make this precious manuscript freely accessible to all...
