The mission of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) is to broaden access to music resources through international collaboration and advocacy, to support research, learning, performance and enjoyment. Our members open up the vast world of information and repertoire in their daily interactions with students, educators, researchers, musicians, and the general public. We work to promote and preserve musical heritage among diverse cultures as we recognise the importance of music in the lives of the world’s people.

I'm delighted to announce the launch of the membership list online.  National Branch Officers can check their own Branch memberships; and individuals can determine how much information is displayed to other members.  We have set a default of as little information as possible showing, you can decide to have your e-mail and postal address showing if you wish.

Future of IAML Questions

A set of questions (PDF) has been produced to guide and provoke discussion in the Future of IAML session at the Dublin conference.  This was initially sent out to Secretaries of National Branches but the Board wishes to gather opinions from the wider membership.
