Mozart Libretti: Online Edition

Mit "Mozart-Libretti Online-Edition" werden die Textquellen zu den Vertonungen Wolfgang Amadé Mozarts zum ersten Mal in einer historisch-kritischen Ausgabe einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Durch das digitale Medium bietet die Edition diverse quellenkundlich begründete Vertiefungsmöglichkeiten zu Mozarts vertonten Texten und ihren literarischen und musikalischen Quellen. Für jeden überlieferten Quellenstrang (vertonter Text, Libretto und Libretto-Vorlagen) wird eine kritische Edition mit vorsichtiger Anpassung an die moderne Rechtschreibung geboten. Alle Abweichungen zwischen den edierten Fassungen können bei synoptischer Darstellung mit farblichen Hervorhebungen angezeigt werden.

In einem ersten Schritt stehen jetzt die Texte zu sechs Opern von Mozart zur Verfügung. Neben Le nozze di Figaro KV 492 (1786) und La clemenza di Tito KV 621 (1791) handelt es sich um die Libretti zu vier Jugendopern des Komponisten. Die Veröffentlichung der weiteren Libretti als Online-Edition soll in kurzen Abständen bis Sommer 2015 erfolgen.

The Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg offers in its Mozart Libretti – Online Edition a digital edition of the textual sources of the vocal works by Wolfgang Amadé Mozart. Although the librettos of Mozart's operas have appeared in numerous printed editions since his lifetime, there is to date no edition devoted to the scholarly evaluation of their sources. The online edition of the Mozart librettos attempts to close this editorial gap and make the texts of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart's vocal compositions accessible to a broad public for the first time in a critical edition. Musical sources, libretti, and audio recordings are brought together to present a comprehensive view of the opera. Six operas are available now, with many more planned.

(Italiano!) La Fondazione Mozarteum di Salisburgo offre con la Mozart-libretti − Online-Edition un’edizione critica digitale dei libretti mozartiani e delle loro fonti. Sebbene i libretti mozartiani siano apparsi nel corso del tempo in numerose pubblicazioni a stampa, mancava finora un’edizione critica complessiva. L’edizione online dei libretti di Mozart intende colmare questo vuoto editoriale e rendere accessibili ad un vasto pubblico i testi delle opere di Wolfgang Amadé Mozart curati secondo criteri scientifici. Attraverso lo strumento digitale vengono offerte, sia agli specialisti che agli appassionati, diverse possibilità di approfondimento riguardante i testi dei libretti mozartiani e delle loro fonti.
