Green Montreal: Biodome & Botanical Gardens

We needed at least 40 people to do a bus tour for the Tuesday Accompanying Persons Tour to the Biodome & Botanical Gardens, but we did not meet that, so we will handle this tour another way--

We will refund money to anyone who signed up.

Instead we will offer that anyone who signed up (or anyone that wants to go on this tour), will meet on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am at the Registration Desk for the Conference, and we will lead the group to the Biodome & Botanical Gardens using public transportation.

The Metro has a stop in the area, so our volunteer guide will take the group on the Metro to the area where you can choose the activities for the day, which include the Biodome, Botanical Gardens and/or the Olympic Stadium. The group can stay together or choose to go at your own pace in the area. There are places for lunch at the sites and various activities. Everyone can regroup in the afternoon at 2:00 pm to return on the Metro, or you return on your own earlier or later. You will also have more control over the cost of the day, since you can pick and choose the sites you wish to visit.

There are various packages available for two or more sights at the Olympic Stadium area (one site is around $10 to $20 and two or more are $25 to $32)

For the Tuesday tour, Green Montreal: Biodome & Botanical Gardens, we haven't had enough response to rent a bus for this event. We will contact the people who did register. We can try instead to have a less formal tour taking a group by the Metro there and doing it without a tour guide, if there is interest in this for the accompanying persons. Watch for more information.

The Banquet is almost full, with only about 5 places left on the bus. We can take names for a waiting list, if you do not get registered in time to see what is possible. Email me if you want to be on the waiting list.
